Accounting Clerk (AP)

Employment Status: Full-Time Pay Interval: Hourly Pay Rate Maximum: 26 Pay Rate Maximum: 28.50 Pay Rate Minimum: 21 Pay Rate Minimum: 22 Shift: Days Experience in payroll administration (ADP), human resources, and accounts payable desired. This position is approx. 60% payroll processing, 30% accounts payable, and 10% HR record keeping. Position Summary The Accounting Clerk (Accounts Payable and Payroll) is responsible for all data management and processing of vendorpayments and associate payroll in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements High school graduate or equivalent Specific Job Requirements Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and e-mail Possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action Knowledgeable of administration practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing administration functions in the post-acute care facility Ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the administration department Perform proficiently in all competency areas including but not limited to: accounts payable, payroll, business office support, patient rights, and safety and sanitation Maintains professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc. Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information Understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures Displays integrity and professionalism by adhering to Life Care's Code of Conduct and completes mandatory Code of Conduct and other appropriate compliance training Essential Functions Record A/P transactions accurately and in a timely manner Accurately reconcile A/P and payroll statements Process facility payroll accurately and in a timely manner Prepare and verify quarterly payroll reports timely Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients Assist in the evacuation of patients Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours Read, write, speak, and understand the English language Lift 20 lbs floor to waist, lift 20 lbs waist to shoulder, lift and carry 20 lbs, and push/pull 20 lbs #J-18808-Ljbffr
