Shipping and Receiving Specialist

The Shipping and Receiving Specialist fulfills customer orders, manages incoming and outgoing shipments, and maintains accurate inventory records using Excel and an MRP/ERP system. This role communicates regularly with internal teams and clients regarding order status and supports deliveries to local customer sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customer orders accurately and on time, ensuring all items are picked, packed, and prepared for shipment according to requirements.
• Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, including receiving, verifying, and documenting materials and products.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate inventory records using Microsoft Excel and an MRP/ERP system.
• Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies or issues to internal personnel in a timely manner.
• Communicate via email with clients and internal team members regarding order status, delivery updates, and any shipping-related questions.
• Coordinate and perform deliveries to local customer sites, including TSMC and Intel locations, as needed.
• Handle international shipping processes and documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant requirements when applicable.
• Operate pallet jacks or lifts to move, load, and unload materials safely within the warehouse.
• Collaborate with two other team members in a small warehouse environment to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Support additional logistics or warehouse tasks as needed to meet delivery schedules and customer expectations.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of experience in shipping and receiving.
• Hands-on experience with inventory management in a warehouse environment.
• Proficiency with MRP or ERP systems for tracking inventory and orders.
• Strong computer skills, including practical experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to manage both incoming and outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently.
• Capability to communicate clearly and professionally via email with clients and internal personnel.
• Experience using pallet jacks or similar equipment to move materials safely.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with international shipping processes and documentation preferred.
• Experience operating pallet jacks or lifts preferred.
• Comfort working with technology and learning new systems for inventory and order management.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Reliability in meeting delivery schedules and supporting time-sensitive shipments.

Work Environment

The role is based in a small warehouse environment in Tempe, Arizona, working closely with two other team members. Standard hours are 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with occasional need to work slightly later depending on delivery schedules. Work is performed on-site at the Tempe location, with periodic support and deliveries to nearby Intel and TSMC sites, commuting from the primary Tempe facility. The environment involves typical warehouse conditions, including use of pallet jacks or lifts for material handling.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
