The ideal candidate will possess strong domain knowledge across payment networks and a proven technology background leading the design, development, and modernization of mission-critical payment platforms.Essential Responsibilities:Design,develop,andenhanceenterprise-scalepaymentprocessingplatformssupportingdomesticandinternationalwiretransfers.LeadtheimplementationandintegrationofpaymentsolutionsacrossSWIFT,CHIPS,Fedwire,andISO20022messagingecosystems.Architectandmodernizepaymentsystemsutilizingcloud-nativetechnologies,distributedarchitectures,andAPI-drivenservices.Collaboratewithbusiness,operations,andtechnologyteamstodeliverresilient,secure,andscalablepaymentcapabilities.Drivepaymenttransformationinitiatives,includinglegacyplatformmodernizationandmigrationtonext-generationpaymentarchitectures.Ensurepaymentapplicationsmeetregulatory,compliance,risk,andoperationalrequirementsacrossmultiplepaymentnetworks.Leadtechnicaldesignreviews,establishengineeringstandards,andprovidementorshiptodevelopmentteams.Troubleshootcomplexpaymentprocessingissues,optimizesystemperformance,andimprovepaymentlifecycleefficiencyfrominitiationthroughsettlement.Basic Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience- Five to six years of relevant experiencePreferred Skills/ExperienceDeepexpertiseinGlobalPayments,WireTransfers,PaymentProcessingPlatforms,andFinancialServicesTechnology.AdvancedknowledgeofISO20022,SWIFT,CHIPS,Fedwire,PaymentMessagingStandards,andCross-BorderPayments.StrongunderstandingofPaymentOperations,Clearing,Settlement,LiquidityManagement,CashManagement,andCorrespondentBanking.ExperiencedesigningandimplementingLarge-ScalePaymentSystems,Real-TimePayments,High-VolumeTransactionProcessing,andEnterpriseIntegrations.ProficiencyinJava,SpringBoot,MicroservicesArchitecture,DistributedSystems,RESTAPIs,andSecureApplicationDevelopment.Hands-onexperiencewithMessagingTechnologiesincludingKafka,IBMMQ,JMS,Event-DrivenArchitecture,andEnterpriseIntegrationPatterns.StrongknowledgeofCloudPlatforms(AWS,Azure,orGCP),Containerization,Kubernetes,OpenShift,CI/CDPipelines,andCloud-NativeEngineering.ProvenleadershipinPaymentModernization,DigitalTransformation,PlatformMigration,SolutionArchitecture,TechnicalStrategy,andAgileDelivery.Location expectations This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.If there’s anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants.
