Your role will involve conducting orthopedic evaluations and treatments, creating personalized treatment plans, overseeing specialized therapy services, and providing education to patients, families, students, and colleagues.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations and documenting findings accurately and promptly.
• Participating in performance improvement initiatives and student programs.
• Adhering to professional standards, state regulations, and organizational policies.
• Focusing on patient and employee safety, including safe patient handling and infection control.

Minimum Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA-accredited program.
• An active Physical Therapy license in New Jersey is required to begin the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be necessary.
• Preferred experience in outpatient orthopedic settings.
• Capability to conduct 60-minute evaluations and treatment sessions.
• Experience with documentation, goal setting, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Proven skills in safe patient handling and infection control practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in supervising students and engaging in clinical education.
• Prior experience in travel or contract therapy roles is advantageous.
• Familiarity with performance improvement projects and clinical documentation systems.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 5 days a week, 8 hours per day.
• Flexible 40-hour work week with 1–2 evenings until 7 PM as required.
• Focus on an orthopedic patient demographic.
• May require floating to other local facilities as necessary.
