Job DescriptionManager, Sustaining Project Management – GP ImprovementThe Manager, Sustaining Project Management drives project/program excellence and change management to drive year-over-year cost savings across the UCC business. This role leads cross-functional project activities that deliver GP improvement over the ASR period, starting with idea creation of high value transformative programs to business case development, budgeting, execution and savings.This strategic role serves as the single point of contact for CTW (cost savings) programs.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Program Management & InsightsDrive GP improvement targets across assigned platform and productsProactively drives idea / opportunity creation to fill savings pipeline over the ASR periodDevelop business cases to secure program specific funding and resourcesPresents portfolio performance/health and risks to leadership and governance forumsProcess Excellence & GovernanceWorks cross functionally to develop project plans and resources allocationPromotes PM best practices, templates, and continuous improvement initiativesLeverages AI and advanced analytics to drive operational efficiencyTeam Leadership & Stakeholder EngagementMentors and Train manufacturing plant PMs on standardized best practices, project charter, project schedule and risk identificationInfluences cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to align priorities and resolve conflictsIdentifies project risks and leads proactive risk mitigationCollaborates with plant finance, business excellence and functions leadersResource & Financial PlanningReviews resources allocation and budget management across projectsCollaborates with UCC Finance on yearly budgeting and monthly financial resultsMinimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree4+ years in portfolio/program management in technical or regulated environmentExpertise in portfolio tools (PowerBI, MS Project) and performance metricsExperience with design control and product development processesPeople management and mentoring capabilityStrategic thinking with cross-functional influence skillsExcellent communication across all levelsUp to 20% travelPreferred Qualifications:Medical device industry experienceBi-lingualProject management certification (PMP, PgMP)Why Join Us?To find purpose in the possibilities, we need people who can see the bigger picture, who understand the human story that underpins everything we do.
