Structural Steel Project Manager

Based in Covington, Georgia, PEC specializes in providing turn key solutions for plants while also being the primary contractor for fabrication, maintenance, electrical and control needs. Job Description of Structural Steel Project Manager - Process Equipment & Controls: Manage structural steel projects from estimating through completion, ensuring quality, safety, and profitability. Prepare detailed bids and estimates using Stack Estimating Software; review drawings and manage material orders. Oversee project flow: estimating, landing projects, scheduling, and execution. Collaborate with shop and field teams to ensure efficient production and installation. Maintain client relationships and support business development by pursuing new bid opportunities. Manage project budgets, schedules, and documentation. Train and mentor shop staff and junior estimators where needed. Provide regular progress updates to senior leadership. Support PEC’s vision of growth in the steel business.
