As a Security Officer Credential Desk in Summerville, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic automotive location as an Access Control Officer, helping monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a professional, welcoming experience for employees and visitors. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and help identify security-related concerns while delivering strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $16.20 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, checking credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at an automotive-related location.
• Monitor entry points, gates, and reception areas to help support authorized access, verify deliveries and/or service appointments, and report unusual activity according to site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and assist with emergency response activities and other security-related concerns as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including parking areas, loading zones, and other restricted spaces, while observing and reporting conditions that could impact operations.
• Communicate with site contacts, drivers, and guests regarding access procedures, visitor directions, and security-related expectations while maintaining detailed and accurate activity logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
