Registered Nurse (RN), Day Shift, Rehabilitation Unit

Adventist Rehabilitation – Rockville We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Rehabilitation Unit to embrace our mission of extending God’s care through physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Registered Nurse (RN) You Will Educate patients and families through the continuum of care and support their learning through guidance from senior nurses and the Clinical Nurse Manager. Serve as a role model to Level I nurses and use electronic resources to support best practices in patient care. Demonstrate professionalism, adhere to ANA standards of practice, and exemplify Adventist HealthCare values in fulfilling the nursing mission and vision. Use equipment and technology correctly, delegate non‑nursing duties appropriately, and maximize efficiency and effectiveness. Develop a plan of care according to patient population. Identify impending changes in patient condition accurately and initiate corrective action. Mentor students, colleagues, and team members in patient‑centered care. Conduct purposeful rounding from the patient and family perspective. Conduct efficient literature searches and apply findings appropriately to practice. Identify opportunities for improvement in clinical care and participate in evidence‑based changes in practice.
