New York Dental Affiliates (NYDA) is adding a full-time Dentist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Gotham Health, Morrisania . Opportunity Details Examines individuals requesting care, diagnoses their dental/oral conditions, prescribes and carries out, or directs others in carrying out, appropriate dental/oral treatment, or refers individuals for specialty consultation or treatment in conformance with approved clinical protocols and guidelines. Maintains current and accurate problem-oriented dental records. Consults with the Chief Medical Officer on referrals and other matters pertaining to the Center's dental health services. Supervises the Assistant in the Dental Department. Must provide late evening and weekend coverage as part of the standard scheduling rotation. Qualifications Graduate of a CODA-accredited Dental School. Completion of a post-graduate General Practice Residency required. At least 2 years of clinical experience required. Wages and Benefits include: Annual Base Salary: $185,000* based on 40-hour work week. The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $203,500** , which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors as set forth below: 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits): Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement. Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
