Senior Financial AnalystThe Biologicals and Chemicals Division, or BCD, is a ~$1.7B business within the BioProduction Group. BCD supports our BioPharma partners in the manufacturing of life-changing and life-saving biologics, including therapies for oncology, autoimmune disease, vaccines, blood disorders, rare diseases, and more, through our premier Gibco product offerings.We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to provide financial leadership for the Detroit and Miami sites. This role will partner closely with Operations and Business leadership teams to drive operational performance and value creation while strengthening our ability to serve our global customers.Location RequirementsThis position may be based at one of our primary office locations:Waltham, MA (500 Totten Pond Road)Carlsbad, CAPittsburgh, PAEmployees in this role are expected to work on-site a minimum of four (4) days per week at one of the locations listed above.We will also consider candidates currently residing in:Detroit, MIGrand Island, NYMiami, FLPlease note: Relocation assistance and employment sponsorship are not available for this position at this time. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.What You Will DoServe as a trusted finance partner to site leadership and business segment leads, providing financial guidance, insights, and recommendations that support effective decision-makingReview, analyze, and monitor complex revenue, margin, and operating expense performance across the division, identifying trends, risks, and opportunitiesInterpret financial results and translate data into actionable insights that help leaders understand business performance and make informed decisionsSupport the development of the annual operating plan, weekly revenue forecasts, and other financial projections, providing oversight and constructively challenging assumptions where appropriate.Monitor cost performance and provide guidance to segment and site leaders on financial results, cost drivers, and opportunities for improvement.Partner with site leadership on benchmarking, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives to improve operational and financial performance.Build an environment of strong internal controls and adherence to company policies.Model a continuous improvement mindset and drive efficiency across the business, functions, and finance operating processes.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesPersonable, highly ethical and thrives in a collaborative environment.Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness, while maintaining a clear view of overall business impact.Ability to work cross-functionally and influence effectively across a global matrixed organization.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to build meaningful relationships at all levels of an organization.Ability to thrive in a complex, fast-paced business environment.Strong executive presence with the ability to professionally present financial results, insights, and analysis.Job RequirementsBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered2-5 years of experience in relevant and related backgroundStrong proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Cognos or equivalent reporting toolsTravel less than 25%Compensation and BenefitsThe salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $103,100.00–$154,700.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
