School Physical Therapist | Quincy, Massachusetts

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives as a Physical Therapist for a local school's Extended School Year (ESY) program. This position offers a consistent schedule-three days per week, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., spanning 7/6/26 through 8/7/26.


Key qualifications and preferred experience:

• Active Physical Therapist license in Massachusetts
• Previous experience working as a PT in a school setting strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of pediatric diagnoses and therapeutic interventions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
• Comfortable adapting activities to meet students' individual needs within a school environment
• Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation practices is a plus
• Commitment to professional growth and supporting student success

What you'll be responsible for:

• Delivering direct therapy services to students in accordance with individualized plans
• Assessing, designing, and implementing personalized treatment strategies to help students achieve their goals
• Providing input for student IEPs and documenting progress
• Collaborating closely with special education teams, teachers, and families
• Supervising or mentoring support staff as appropriate
• Participating in ESY program planning meetings and supporting an inclusive, positive learning environment
