Experienced, safety-focused technicians needed for power generation, nuclear, turnaround, outage, maintenance, and capital projects.

Preferred:
- Nuclear 365 or active clearance
- RAD Worker Training
- Wireless control systems
- ASME Section D.10.10
- Induction bolting
- QA/QC documentation
- Nuclear Outage experience

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass FBI background check and hair-follicle drug screen
- TWIC card
- Employment references
- Willingness to travel the Southeast Region

ROLE DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities include performing field-based heat treatment services, monitoring and operating heat treatment equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures. Additional duties involve setting up and troubleshooting field equipment, maintaining detailed documentation of processes, and collaborating with team members to meet project specifications and customer requirements. Candidates should have a strong commitment to safety and quality and must be comfortable working in Heavy Industrial settings. Working 7 days a week, 12 hours per day is common during busy times throughout the year. The time length of understanding and becoming self-sufficient in our processes will drive wage advancements and the number of hours worked and wage advancements. Shop and or Field training will follow initial hiring to expedite the understanding of the services.

JOB DUTIES

• Pull and Carrying Cables
• Climbing , Bending , Pulling , Kneeling on a continual basis
• Carry Heaters on a continual basis - 5 Pounds Each
• 24 Hour On Call-7 Days a Week, Must be able to work overtime as needed
• Work requires correct use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Working in confined space
• Some work may be performed on ladders, scaffolding or at high elevations.
• Employee works with hand tools and electrical equipment on a daily basis.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Work requires physical effort and use of motor skills requiring manual dexterity. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, push/pull, or balance weight for extended periods of time. The employee must be able to frequently lift, move, and/or carry up to 50 pounds or more with or without assistance. Employee will regularly drive a company truck and must be able to enter and exit the truck throughout the day. Will regularly operate equipment associated with the heat treatment industry that requires manual dexterity and use of industrial tools requiring some coordinated movements. Activities include using a forklift or pallet jack to move material and parts; and tools to assemble, install or repair industrial materials.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Works is in a safety sensitive industrial environment. Work tasks may expose employee to physically unpleasant or hazardous conditions associated with the industry and elevated work areas. The noise level is usually moderate to high. Work In extreme heat and cold weather conditions both inside and outside.
