Our client base includes small businesses with revenues of $1 M to $75M, including manufacturing, service, and non-profit. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to serve a key role with our clients overseeing various aspects of accounting operations and ensuring financial compliance.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managerial accounting and a proven record of anticipating needs, problem solving, hitting deadlines and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Successful candidates will have:Exceptional project management skillsStrong interpersonal skillsProven communication skills and a customer service mindsetAbility to navigate numerous softwares and systems with minimal instructionsFoundation of accounting excellenceDrive to achieve goals for clients, NFG and personal fulfillmentEducation and/or Experience:Bachelor's in Accounting or related field5+ years of accounting experience, including:forecasting and budgetingdeveloping finance proceduresoversight and review of month- and year-end closemanaging a business's accounting records to ensure that everything is completed accurately and on timeCertificates, licenses, registrations: CPA preferredJob Type: Full-time; hourly, non-exemptTravel: Potential for day travel to client locations
