Established Law Firm Seeks Talented Trial Attorney - Labor Law Defense

A bit about us:

We're looking for a Trial Attorney to help support our department by researching legal issues and drafting legal documents such as briefs, motions, and pleadings, conducting depositions, attending mediation, and preparing cases for trial. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal research, possess excellent writing skills, and be creative enough to find solutions to new problems. Experience in NYS Labor Law (Construction), MVA, trip/slip and fall, premise and construction matters is required to handle cases from inception through trial.

Job Details

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar of New York.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a defense attorney, specifically within the construction industry.
4. Knowledge of Labor Law 240 and 241.
5. Proven experience in construction defense is ideal.
6. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and standards.
7. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
8. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
9. Ability to build rapport with clients and work effectively within a team.
10. High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.
