IMM Translational Intern

Johnson & Johnson seeks interns for a three-month immunology translational science program in Spring House, PA or San Diego, CA. Interns will execute research projects in immune-mediated disease drug development, gaining hands-on experience with laboratory techniques, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration while advancing toward a research symposium presentation.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute experiments investigating disease biology, therapeutic targets, and biomarkers
- Perform laboratory techniques including ELISA, PCR, flow cytometry, and cell-based functional assays
- Collect, record, and analyze translational data from human samples and experimental models
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across functions in matrix environment
- Prepare and present research abstract or poster at organization-wide research symposium
Requirements
- Enrolled full-time in accredited university or college throughout internship duration
- Permanently authorized to work in U.S., no visa sponsorship required now or future
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA across all college coursework
- Undergraduate with minimum four semesters completed or enrolled graduate student
- Pursuing degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, biomedical engineering, or related field
- Not graduating before, during, or after internship period
- Graduate students pursuing master's, PharmD, PA, or PhD in clinical-related discipline
