Job Opportunity

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for an intensive care unit (ICU) role. The ideal candidate will possess at least 2 years of nursing experience in ICU settings and hold relevant certifications.

Shift Details

Shift Type: Day 3x12-Hour
Working Hours: 07:00 AM - 06:40 PM

Job Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Licensing: California Nursing License required
Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
Charge Experience: Previous charge nurse experience preferred
Patient Ratio Experience: Experience managing patient ratios in ICU settings
Floating: Flexibility to float to other units as needed

Unit Details

Patient Age Groups: Various
Daily Census: Varies based on unit staffing
Special Equipment: Training provided on facility-specific equipment

Additional Information

Orientation Hours: Competency training will be provided
Required Courses: Completion of Assaultive Behavior and Fire Card courses within 30 days of start date
Course Costs: Candidates are responsible for enrollment fees ($50 for Fire Card, $80 for Assaultive Behavior course)
