Purchasing Assistant – Warehouse

Pay: $18–$22 per hour
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: Full-Time

Responsibilities

• Assist the Procurement Manager with daily purchasing activities

• Place purchase orders and order materials and supplies

• Obtain pricing and communicate with vendors

• Track orders and follow up on deliveries

• Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records

• Review orders for accuracy and availability

• Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, orders, and delivery schedules

• Assist with inventory and warehouse office activities

• Enter information into computer systems and maintain files

• Perform other purchasing and administrative duties as needed

Qualifications

• Previous Buyer, Purchasing, or Procurement experience required

• Experience working with vendors and purchase orders

• Strong organizational and follow-up skills

• Good computer and data-entry skills

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks

• Good communication skills

• Warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or industrial purchasing experience is a plus

Temp-to-Hire opportunity with pay of $18–$22/hour based on experience.
