Overview Workforce Strategy & Growth Leader | Driving Growth Through Innovative Recruiting, Change Management & Brand Alignment Job Title Finance Data Operations Analyst Location Remote (must be able to work EST hours) Contract 6-month contract with potential for extension (W2, Weekly Pay, Benefits) About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Data Operations Analyst to support our Finance organization during a major modernization initiative with SAP. This role is highly tactical, focused on step-by-step process cleanup, data entry, data validation, and issue resolution. The ideal candidate has strong critical thinking skills, a finance/accounting background, and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new defect scenarios in order to provide relief to the originating teams. Key Responsibilities Execute tactical data cleanup, entry, and validation tasks with precision and attention to detail. Review, investigate, and resolve data defects, ensuring accuracy and consistency within financial systems. Identify discrepancies or issues, raise questions, and escalate appropriately to ensure data integrity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to relieve workload from originating teams by quickly acclimating to new processes or defects. Document processes, findings, and resolutions to build knowledge and support long-term improvements. Support the Finance team through SAP modernization activities by ensuring reliable and accurate data handling. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred. 2–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or data operations. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to question results that do not make sense. High attention to detail and accuracy with repetitive, tactical tasks. Strong Excel skills; experience with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus. Self-starter with the ability to quickly learn new processes and adapt to changing priorities.
