What You’ll Do Provide Skilled SLP Care: Perform comprehensive in‑home evaluations for geriatric patients with cognitive, dysphagia, aphasia, or dysarthria. Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Create and execute effective strategies to improve communication, cognitive‑linguistic skills, and swallowing function over multiple visits. Manage Your Visits: Schedule and conduct home visits at times that work for you and your patients. Collaborate for Success: Work with a supportive team to ensure coordinated care and optimize patient outcomes. Document Efficiently: Use one simple EMR system for all notes (with tools available to minimize documentation time!) What You’ll Need Valid California Speech‑Language Pathology license ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is required for home health. CPR or BLS certification Driver’s license and auto insurance Physical + TB test (within the last year) Professional liability and business license (if applicable) Where You’ll Be Working We have an opportunity for a clinician to serve South East LA, a hardworking community that includes Downey, Bellflower, and Norwalk. Traffic can be a factor, but the area offers a good quality of life and a sense of belonging. With many Spanish speaking patients, multi‑lingual capabilities would be highly beneficial, but are not required.
