As the Market and Business Strategy Manager within Cross-Domain Computing Solutions (XC), you will support strategic planning, market intelligence, political consulting, and ecosystem strategy activities for the North American region.

Working closely with the Director of Marketing, regional leadership, and business stakeholders, you will help coordinate the regional strategy process, generate actionable market insights, assess external opportunities and risks, and support the development of strategic recommendations that guide business priorities and long-term growth.

In this highly visible role, you will serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to leadership, translating market, customer, competitive, regulatory, and ecosystem intelligence into clear recommendations and actionable insights. Success in this role requires a balance of strategic thinking, analytical rigor, stakeholder management, and people leadership.

The Market and Business Strategy Manager will lead a small team responsible for supporting regional strategy development, market intelligence, ecosystem analysis, and political consulting activities while partnering closely with the Director of Marketing to advance strategic priorities across the organization.

Responsibilities

Strategy Process Leadership

• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve strategy frameworks, visualizations, planning tools, and supporting materials that enable consistent strategic planning and alignment across the region.
• Coordinate strategic planning sessions and business review discussions with regional leadership and key stakeholders.
• Track progress against strategic priorities and identify emerging opportunities, risks, and potential adjustments for leadership consideration.
• Prepare executive strategy materials, business reviews, and inputs for global strategy meetings.
• Support alignment of regional strategic priorities with global objectives and future business targets.

Market Intelligence

• Develop and manage a structured market intelligence program that delivers timely and actionable insights to business leaders.
• Monitor automotive, technology, regulatory, customer, and competitive developments impacting Bosch and the mobility industry.
• Partner closely with Product Management teams to identify information needs and improve intelligence-sharing processes.
• Assess industry studies, customer data, market forecasts, and competitor developments and translate findings into business recommendations.
• Evaluate opportunities to leverage AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies to improve insight generation and distribution.

Political Consulting

• Monitor legislative, regulatory, trade, and policy developments that may create opportunities or risks for the business.
• Maintain relationships with internal government affairs and policy stakeholders to support information sharing and alignment.
• Develop analyses and recommendations related to key policy developments and regulatory trends for leadership review.
• Support leadership participation in policy discussions, industry forums, and advocacy activities.
• Assess potential business implications of evolving regulatory frameworks and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.

Ecosystem Strategy

• Develop and maintain an understanding of the evolving automotive technology ecosystem and key industry players.
• Analyze relationships among OEMs, technology companies, suppliers, software providers, and strategic partners.
• Assess ecosystem opportunities, partnerships, and competitive dynamics and develop recommendations that inform XC's regional ecosystem strategy.
• Provide insight into how ecosystem relationships may influence customer technology decisions and future market opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales, product management, and strategy teams to support alignment on ecosystem priorities and opportunities.

Qualifications

Basic

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Economics, Political Science, Public Policy, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in strategy, business planning, market intelligence, product management, marketing, or related disciplines.
• Experience developing business strategies and executive-level recommendations.
• Experience conducting market, competitive, or industry analysis.

Preferred

Qualifications

• Automotive, mobility, or technology industry experience.
• Strong understanding of software-defined vehicles, automotive software, connected services, AI, and emerging mobility technologies.
• Experience facilitating strategic planning processes and cross-functional alignment activities.
• Ability to synthesize large volumes of information into concise and actionable recommendations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking capabilities.
• Knowledge of regulatory, legislative, or public policy environments relevant to the automotive industry.
• Experience influencing stakeholders across organizational boundaries without direct authority.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and executive storytelling skills.
• Experience working in global and cross-functional organizations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint and Excel.
