Yard Driver-On Property

As a Local Yard Driver with Lazer Logistics in Waterloo, IA, you will stay in one location for your entire shift. No traffic, no long routes, and no multiple stops. Instead, you focus on moving trailers within the yard in a safe, controlled environment.

What You Can Expect

• Home daily with a consistent schedule
• Limited road driving or highway traffic

Pay and Benefits

• $25.00 per hour PLUS $1.00 shift differential
• $1.500 Safety Retention Bonus! Payout - 60 days, 90 days, 180 days
• Overtime available after 40 hours
• Weekly pay
• Referral bonus up to $2,000

Job Responsibilities

• Move trailers within the yard and between dock doors
• Perform drop and hook operations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Communicate with dispatch and yard personnel
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Current DOT Medical Card
• Safe driving record
• Experience operating tractor-trailers
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to get in and out of the truck throughout the shift
