Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in Med Surg and Emergency Department settings, including assessments, care planning, and documentation in the electronic health record.
- Administer medications, including IV medications, per physician orders; monitor for adverse reactions and intervene as needed.
- Monitor patient status continuously, interpret vital signs, and escalate changes in condition to the medical team promptly.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teammates to coordinate tests, treatments, analgesia, and discharge planning; educate patients and families on care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation, adhere to infection control practices, and participate in shift handoffs and on-call requirements.
- Adapt to unit needs in a Critical Access Hospital environment; perform duties in both Med Surg and ER as assigned; demonstrate teamwork and flexibility.

Requirements
- Active RN license in Kansas or a multi-state (compact) license
- BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
- Experience in Med Surg and Emergency Department settings; CAH experience preferred
- Proficiency with IV medications and IV therapy
- Ability to work night shifts (7:00 pm–7:00 am) on a 3x12 schedule
- Eligible for travel assignments and able to work in Marysville, KS
