Receptionist (Part Time)

Job Summary The front desk person will help create a welcoming culture by greeting guests professionally and warmly. The front desk person will also support the smooth running of the facility by providing administrative support to the program. Reports To: Shift Supervisor Hours: 15-20 Hr/Week Schedule: Wed - Fri, 5pm - 8pm & Sat, 9am - 3pm Major Duties Create a welcoming environment for youth, families, staff, and visitors alike. Greet and announce participants and guests upon arrival and direct them to the appropriate program or service. Maintain electronic and/or paper sign-in process. Answer and direct all incoming calls to the appropriate staff. Assist in the registration of program participants. Provide clerical support to center Directors including data entry, class registration, updating documents, etc. Assist as needed during special program and agency events. Conduct weekly outreach for program support. Update bulletin boards and flyers as needed. Manage center calendar and promote upcoming events using slideshow announcements and email. Send weekly and monthly newsletters. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED 1-year office experience required. Business knowledge of Canva and Social Media preferred. Must have the ability to learn new technologies and systems. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Must have outstanding oral and written communication skills. Must have the ability to interact in a positive and courteous manner. #J-18808-Ljbffr
