Cardiac Cath Lab - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience with 9 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of travel experience is required.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - Tristar Division.

Additional Details:

Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.

Required Skills/Experience: All RNs and Techs must have minimum 2 years of similar Cath Lab procedures and 1 year Cath Lab travel experience.

Unit Details: Patient ratio: 4 person team/1 patient. Uses GE, IVUS, and Volcano equipment. Documentation includes Merge-Cath Lab Application. Diagnostic and interventional Cath Lab procedures include Left Heart Cath, Right Heart Cath, TEEs, Cardioversion, Pacer Implants, Defibrillator Implants, TILT, and Stress Tests. New state-of-the-art Cath Lab – March 2023. Brand new EP equipment.

Shift & Scheduling: On-call 1 weekend/mo. and 1-2 days per week.

Floating Requirements: Floating policy: Cath Lab, OP Stress Test.

10 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required
