Portfolio Manager

CSP has partnered with a well-established and growing independent wealth management firm in the Baltimore area seeking a Portfolio Manager to join its investment team. This individual will partner closely with senior leadership on portfolio management, investment research, client presentations, business development initiatives, and client service. Key Responsibilities Partner with wealth advisors to evaluate and manage client investment portfolios, including portfolio implementation, rebalancing, reinvestment of proceeds, tax-loss harvesting, cash management, and trade execution. Prepare investment analyses and develop high-quality client presentations and reporting materials. Utilize advanced Excel modeling and PowerPoint skills to support investment recommendations and client communications. Assist advisors with business development efforts and prospective client opportunities. Communicate effectively with clients, advisors, and internal stakeholders. Maintain a strong understanding of public markets, alternative investments, and financial planning concepts. Support the delivery of customized investment solutions tailored to each client's financial objectives. Qualifications Work on-site 5 days/week in Baltimore office. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field. Four or more years of relevant experience in portfolio management, investment management, wealth management, investment banking, institutional investments, or a related financial services environment. CFP designation preferred; CFA, CPA/PFS, or Series 65/66 also considered. Experience working with registered investment advisors (RIA) or wealth management firms is a plus. Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. High level of professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment.
