• Position: Med/Surg Telemetry RN / Travel Nurse (Night Shift)

• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (June 26, 2026 – September 25, 2026)
• Shift: Night shift, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (7:00pm – 7:30am)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Unit: 2Main post-op surgery, Med/Surg Telemetry (post-op, telemetry monitoring)

Job Requirements

• Minimum 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Active Ohio RN license or active compact state RN license (Compact RN accepted)
• Current AHA BLS & ACLS certifications (must be active)
• NIHSS certification (must be active)
• Two professional references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in Med/Surg Tele within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate during orientation

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to post-op surgical and telemetry patients as a Telemetry Nurse / Med/Surg RN
• Continuously monitor and interpret ECG rhythms; promptly recognize and respond to telemetry changes
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely (SafeMedicate competency required)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, surgeons, therapists) to support optimal patient outcomes
• Perform post-operative assessments, wound care, and patient education for discharge planning
• Document patient care clearly and efficiently in the electronic health record
• Participate in orientation, unit-specific competency assessments, and ongoing training
