Registered Nurse - PACU

Location: West Virginia

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule / Shift: Four 10-hour shifts, days, with call required on nights and weekends.

Job Description: Join a dedicated team in the PACU, where you will provide exceptional care for patients undergoing surgical procedures. This role requires adherence to ASPAN guidelines and an emphasis on patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
• Monitor patient recovery from anesthesia and respond promptly to any complications.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and manage patient care as per established protocols.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN License required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are mandatory.
• Previous PACU experience is preferred.
