Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Life Mission Nursing and Rehab, you will work onsite in a vibrant rehabilitation facility located in scenic Santa Rosa, California. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' movement, strength, range of motion, and physical limitations related to orthopedic injuries or surgeries.
• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, taking into account their medical history, rehabilitation goals, and physical capabilities.
• Implement evidence-based rehabilitation techniques, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, electrical stimulation, and neuromuscular re-education strategies.
• Educate patients on their conditions, outline expected recovery timelines, and provide comprehensive home exercise programs and lifestyle modifications.
• Track and monitor patient progress through functional outcomes, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure effective recovery.
• Engage as a vital member of a collaborative team, working closely with physicians, orthopedic surgeons, athletic trainers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions and treatment protocols, in compliance with clinic policy and state regulations.
• Pursue ongoing professional development, attending training sessions, workshops, and seminars to stay at the forefront of orthopedic rehabilitation techniques.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Possession of a current and valid California Physical Therapy License or eligibility to obtain it is essential.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, demonstrating proficiency in manual therapy techniques and understanding of musculoskeletal disorders.

Preferred Experience

• Candidates with Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification will be given preference.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $125,000, commensurate with experience and skill level, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
