Our client, a leading organization in the technology and food industry, is seeking a Developer Level 3 to join their team. As a Developer Level 3, you will be part of the End-to-End Fresh team supporting innovative solutions that enhance the quality and freshness of fresh foods from farm to customer. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Details Job Title: Developer Level 3 Location: Cincinnati, OH Pay rate: 70.00-80.00 per hour Responsibilities Lead the development of a modern, web-based platform serving as the enterprise repository for fresh quality specifications. Design, build, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring ecosystem, ensuring high performance and scalability. Develop and enhance front-end applications utilizing React to provide intuitive user interfaces for business users and inspectors. Collaborate with product teams and architecture stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. Mentor junior developers, promote engineering standards, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications 8+ years of professional software development experience with significant hands-on coding responsibility, including Java. 7+ years of experience developing RESTful APIs and integrating them into production environments. 5+ years of experience designing, building, and evolving APIs and web applications with React. Strong knowledge of the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, REST, persistence, and security fundamentals. Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL data stores, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Git workflows. What’s in it for me?
