OandM Crewmember T-AGOS SURTASS-E Specialist

Predicate Logic is seeking a motivated OandM Crewmember T-AGOS SURTASS-E Specialist to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA. The role involves supporting six‑month on, six‑month off rotating missions aboard government‑operated Surveillance Towed Array Sensor System assets at sea. The Specialist will work as part of the SURTASS Operation Center (SOC) team. Security Clearance Applicant must have a Department of Defense (DoD) personnel security clearance. Responsibilities Stand watch in the SURTASS Operations Center (SOC) on board SURTASS vessels to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair SURTASS mission equipment, support Fleet requirements, maintain records and logs, and monitor and send naval message traffic. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on all SURTASS mission equipment. Use the trouble ticket application (e.g., WILD) to log all maintenance tickets for action. Maintain accurate logistics inventory. Operate the shipboard test equipment pool used with SURTASS mission equipment, including verification of calibration status. Maintain a technical library to support all SURTASS mission equipment. Experience Five years of practical hands‑on experience in operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing at least one of the following: Virtual Machine Environment (VME) computers, networks, digital computers, microprocessors, communications systems, navigation systems, and/or sonar systems. Experience with SURTASS mission systems is preferred. Education Associate degree in Computer Science, Electronics Technology, or completion of US Navy electronics "C" school or an equivalent civilian electronics technical school with curriculum covering maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of VME computers, digital computers, microprocessors, peripheral/interface equipment, networks, communications systems, navigation systems, and/or sonar systems. DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification required within twelve months of start date. Additional Requirements Must possess or be able to obtain a U.S. Passport expeditiously. Must be able to pass a Mariner’s Physical per COMSCINST 600l.c. and maintain medical fitness for this position.
