The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, planning, implementation, and administration of IT, telecommunications, physical and cyber security, and shared-use networks and programs. This role involves driving technology strategy to enhance customer experiences, operational efficiencies, and support revenue generation. The VP of IT will also lead technology transformation initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, manage IT budgets, and oversee disaster recovery and business continuity planning. Collaboration with other departments is essential to integrate IT infrastructure requirements into capital projects and ensure successful execution of technology deployments. Candidates for the VP of IT position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and a minimum of 10 years of professional IT experience, including at least 5 years in a senior management or executive leadership role. Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCNP, ITIL, and PMP are strongly preferred. Experience in airport, aviation, critical infrastructure, or governmental environments is highly valued, particularly with a focus on IT leadership at small or medium-sized US airport hubs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cybersecurity, infrastructure, and enterprise applications, as well as proven experience in managing budgets, vendors, and large-scale IT projects. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with the ability to provide IT leadership and direction to subordinate staff.
