Registered Nurse PACU

$1593.65/week - Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to provide exceptional patient recovery care. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in a similar specialty and be committed to high-quality clinical practices. Responsibilities: Stabilize and assess patients emerging from anesthesia to ensure immediate recovery needs are met. Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient vital signs throughout the recovery process. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate patients and families on post-operative care instructions and recovery expectations. Document patient conditions, interventions, and responses comprehensively and accurately. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, infection control standards, and agency policies. Qualifications: Hold an active registered nurse license in good standing. Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a PACU or recovery setting. Demonstrate certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by AHA. Exhibit strong assessment and critical thinking skills. Ability to work 7a-7p schedule, including major and minor holidays. Maintain flexibility to work a 7-day weekly schedule.
