This position involves providing quality patient care, including intensive respiratory treatments, patient transport, and education. The role requires evaluating patients and recommending treatment plans, operating ventilatory and oxygen equipment, performing routine assessments, and assisting with procedures related to respiratory therapy.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and Experience: Certified Respiratory Therapist with no minimum experience required.
• Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Performs routine review of chest x-rays and Routine pulmonary function studies.
• Operates various ventilatory, oxygen, aerosol, and nebulizer devices to administer medications and ensure oxygenation.
• Performs chest physiotherapy, suctioning, arterial punctures, and manages tracheostomy care.
• Performs 12-Lead EKG, basic arrhythmia recognition, and assists with procedures such as bronchoscopy and chest tube placement.
• Maintains accurate documentation of treatments and patient responses.
• Communicates with physicians and team members to optimize therapy effectiveness.
• Conducts equipment setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Performs cardiopulmonary resuscitation following BLS and ACLS guidelines.
• Compliance with all policies related to laboratory testing, specimen handling, and documentation.
