Estate Administrator

Experience: 3+ years I’m currently recruiting for an Estate Administrator/Paralegal opportunity with an established law firm serving high-net-worth individuals and families. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with a dedicated Trusts & Estates team on sophisticated estate administration and probate matters. Why Consider This Opportunity? What You’ll Do: Prepare probate petitions and related filings Handle Surrogate’s Court filings Marshal estate assets, including closing existing accounts and opening estate accounts Prepare judicial and non-judicial accountings for trusts and estates Support attorneys throughout the estate administration process Work closely with attorneys and clients on complex estate matters What We’re Looking For: 3+ years of Trusts & Estates experience Experience handling probate and estate administration matters Familiarity with Surrogate’s Court filings and procedures Experience preparing estate tax returns, preferably Form 706 Experience with trust and estate accountings Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Experience supporting high-net-worth clients is highly valued Familiarity with estate administration software and New York Surrogate’s Court forms is a plus Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between [$85,000 – $110,000 annually]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
