Transition from Road to a Stable Office Career

Are you an experienced CDL professional ready to trade long hours on the road for a rewarding office career? If you know commercial trucks and enjoy helping customers, this is the perfect opportunity. We are a growing commercial truck repair facility looking for a Service Writer to be the primary point of contact for our customers. This is not a driving position. The CDL is only required to occasionally test drive commercial trucks after repairs to verify they are operating properly.

What You'll Do

• Welcome customers and create repair work orders.
• Schedule service appointments and coordinate repairs.
• Communicate repair progress and estimated completion times.
• Work closely with technicians and parts personnel to keep repairs moving efficiently.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Test drive commercial trucks after repairs (CDL required).

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
• Commercial truck driving experienced preferred.
• Knowledge of heavy-duty trucks and the trucking industry.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to stay organized.
• Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
