Accounting Assistant

Accounting Assistant Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join their growing team on a temp-to-hire basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with accounting experience who enjoys working in a collaborative office environment and is looking for long-term career growth. Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Assistant: * Process and distribute daily mail * Prepare and process daily bank deposits * Assist with bank reconciliations * Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions * Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding financial information * Maintain records, assist with scheduling, and provide administrative support to the accounting team * Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned Required Qualifications of the Accounting Assistant: * At least 1 year of accounting experience * Minimum 1 year of Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable experience * Strong organizational and multitasking skills * Excellent time management and attention to detail * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team * Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities Preferred Qualifications of the Accounting Assistant: * Experience with Bill.com and/or Paycom * QuickBooks experience * Medical or healthcare office experience * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field is a plus, but not required If you're looking for an opportunity to build your accounting career with a stable and supportive organization, we'd love to hear from you!
