Collection Specialist
Location: Norfolk, VA (Onsite – 5 Days per Week)
Pay: $20.00/hour
Type: Contract-to-Hire
We are seeking a Collections Specialist to join our team in Norfolk, VA. This is a fully onsite, contract-to-hire opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound customer calls.
- Make outbound collection calls as assigned.
- Respond to customer emails.
- Document all customer interactions, payment commitments, disputes, and follow-ups in MAM.
- Assist customers with payment options and process payments as needed.
- Maintain professionalism and follow company collection guidelines.
- Complete assigned tasks and communicate unresolved items to the team.
Qualifications
- Previous collections, customer service, call center, accounts receivable, or related experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and accurate data entry skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Onsite (5 Days per Week)
Pay: $20.00/hour
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire with the opportunity for permanent employment based on performance and business needs.
