Litigation Associate (2-5 Yrs Exp) Experience: Mid Level Salary: $135,000 - $205,000 per year Location: New England Job Description We are looking to add a Litigation Associate to our team in New England. In this role, you will work closely with experienced litigators on a wide range of commercial and corporate disputes. Our team handles matter involving sophisticated business conflicts, and associates are given meaningful responsibility early, including involvement in strategy, drafting, discovery, and court-facing work. This is an excellent opportunity for an associate who enjoys hands‑on litigation work and wants to continue developing courtroom skills while working in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities Assist with all phases of complex commercial litigation matters Draft pleadings, motions, and other written submissions for state and federal courts Manage discovery, including document review, production, and e‑discovery coordination Conduct legal research and prepare analytical memoranda Participate in deposition preparation and potentially attend depositions or hearings Work closely with partners and clients to develop litigation strategy Maintain organized case management and deadlines across multiple matters Qualifications 2–5 years of litigation experience, ideally involving commercial or corporate disputes Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and other substantive litigation documents Familiarity with discovery practice and e‑discovery processes Strong research, analytical, and legal writing skills Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment Highly organized with strong attention to detail Requirements Active admission to the Massachusetts or Rhode Island bar (or ability to waive in) Prior experience working in a law firm or comparable litigation environment Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in an active litigation practice A bit about us We are a full‑service law firm providing practical legal guidance to businesses and organizations facing complex issues.
