Join Our Team as a Baker at The Bakehouse!
The Bakehouse, located at 2 Depot Plaza inside the Tarrytown train station, is a retail bakery and café dedicated to crafting everything in-house, from scratch, and on demand using only the finest quality ingredients. We are looking for a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team. This is a full-time position with a schedule of Tuesday through Saturday, 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM. ResponsibilitiesAs a Baker at The Bakehouse, you’ll participate in all aspects of our production shift, ensuring that our baked goods meet the high standards our customers love. Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Oven Work : Baking all breakfast items to perfection following provided instructions.
- Bench Work : Engaging in a variety of bakery production tasks, including breads, cakes, cookies, tarts, pies, and more.
- Organizational Work : Storing, organizing, rotating, and consolidating baked goods in walk-in freezers and refrigerators as needed.
- Light Cleaning : Sweeping and cleaning your immediate workspace and equipment at the end of each shift.
We’re looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- At least 1 year of baking experience .
- A passion for baking and working with high-quality ingredients.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work Tuesday through Saturday from 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
- A team-oriented attitude and a commitment to maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.
