Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students from grades 3 through 12 as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This full-time position runs Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, and focuses on meeting the unique communication needs of a diverse student population. You’ll be working onsite, building connections and collaborating closely with educators, staff, and families to create positive outcomes.

You will manage a caseload of 30-35 students presenting with a variety of needs, including speech-language impairments (SLI), autism spectrum disorders, other health impairments (OHI), learning disabilities (LD), and potentially students with hearing impairments next year.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Hold or be eligible for New York state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Prior experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
• Skilled in providing both direct therapy and consultative services
• Excellent documentation, communication, and organizational abilities
• Collaborative mindset and commitment to fostering student success

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted speech-language therapy to students from grades 3-12
• Complete evaluations and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in compliance with district guidelines
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff to maximize student potential
• Monitor, track, and report on student progress using evidence-based practices
• Adapt therapy approaches to meet individual student goals and diverse needs
