Investment Operations Associate

Description

The Investment Operations Associate is a highly skilled support specialist that assists Trust Officers with middle office functions.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assisting Trust Officers with account termination process 
• Assisting Trust Officers with unique asset pricing
• Transferring marketable securities including, but not limited to Stocks, Bonds, Mutual Funds and cash for on-boarding clients
• Transferring assets between internal accounts
• Purchasing, redeeming and processing dividends on bank CDs
• Manual shadow posting, loading and reconciling automated data feed for shadow accounts
• Creating and distributing various reports to Trust Officers
• Adjusting cost for correct cost basis reporting
• Processing back up withholding

Requirements

• 1-3 years of Financial Industry experience supporting wealth management professionals and/or experience in a law office supporting trusts and estates
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent organizational, customer service and attention to detail skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with the ability to learn new or updated software
• Ability to handle confidential information with tact and discretion
• Dependable and adaptable to changes
