Travel Emergency Room Registered NurseTravel Emergency Room Registered Nurse needed for a 13-week contract near Hays, Kansas. The role offers a 3×12 shift schedule, 36 scheduled hours per week, and pay up to $2,300 per week.Key Responsibilities:Provide high-quality nursing care to patients requiring urgent and emergency medical attentionPerform comprehensive patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuityMonitor vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patient conditionAdminister medications, IV therapy, treatments, and emergency interventions as orderedRespond quickly and effectively to medical emergencies and changes in patient statusCollaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient careAssist with stabilization, treatment, transfer, and discharge planningMaintain accurate and timely patient documentationFollow infection control, patient safety, and facility protocolsProvide compassionate education and support to patients and their familiesQualifications:Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing programActive Kansas RN license or Compact RN license in good standingCurrent BLS certification requiredCurrent ACLS certification required based on facility guidelinesPALS certification may be required depending on patient populationPrevious Emergency Room, Emergency Department, or acute-care nursing experience strongly preferredStrong assessment, critical-thinking, communication, and emergency-response skillsPreferred Skills:Previous Emergency Room, Emergency Department, or acute-care nursing experienceTNCC or other emergency nursing certificationsBenefits:Compensation up to $2,300 per weekCompetitive travel nursing compensationDedicated recruiter supportConsistent weekly scheduling13-week contract opportunityOpportunities for contract extensionsAccess to healthcare opportunities throughout Kansas and across the country
