Experienced Phlebotomist

Job Description We offer a truly part-time role focused on plasma donation screening and phlebotomy. The position is primarily 4 to 6 hour shifts, 3 or more days per week, with scheduling confirmed early in the interview process. Reliability during assigned hours is essential; any schedule changes will be communicated in advance. Key Responsibilities Answer phones, greet donors, and ensure donor safety. Screen new and repeat donors and take and record donor vital signs and finger‑stick results. Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation. Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using company‑approved procedures. Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift. Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees. Ability to lift to 5 lb., occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lb., and rarely 50 lb. Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance. Experience handling potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1) with prolonged glove wear required on 90% of tasks. Minimum 1 year of customer or patient‑facing experience helpful.
