Director of Human Resources – Acute Care Hospital 358-Bed Tertiary Care Teaching Hospital Prior Union/Labor Relations Experience Required We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to lead the HR function for a 358-bed tertiary care teaching hospital in Newark. This is a highly visible hospital leadership role responsible for employee and labor relations, HR operations, workforce strategy, compliance and partnering with executive leadership across the organization. What You’ll Do: Provide strategic HR guidance to hospital executive leadership Lead complex employee and labor relations matters Manage grievances, investigations, disciplinary actions and conflict resolution Support workforce planning, retention and employee engagement initiatives Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and hospital policies Advise leadership regarding the HR implications of organizational and operational changes Lead and develop the hospital HR function What We're Looking For: Healthcare/hospital HR leadership experience Strong union and labor relations experience required Significant employee relations and investigation experience Experience partnering directly with senior/C-suite leadership Knowledge of employment law and wage/hour regulations Familiarity with Joint Commission and hospital regulatory requirements Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred Minimum 3 years related healthcare experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
