Anesthesiology Physician

Opportunity:

Physician - Hematology/Oncology Full-time

Job Details:

• Full-time coverage with 5 clinic days per week and 8-hour day shifts
• Clinic hours from 8:00 AM with first patient at 8:15/8:30 AM and last patient at 3:30 PM
• Average 15 patients per day in adult hematology and oncology practice
• Patient mix: 60% hematology and 40% oncology cases
• Treat solid tumor oncology, benign hematology, and malignant hematology patients
• Weekend coverage required 2 weekends per month with 24-hour call coverage
• Night call 10 days per month with 1:2 call rotation
• Call coverage includes inpatient and phone call responsibilities
• Consulting service only - hospitalists manage admissions
• 14-chair infusion center onsite with oncology-certified nursing staff
• Radiation oncology located onsite
• Participation in disease-specific and general tumor boards
• Work with 1.3 hematology/oncology physicians and 3 APPs onsite
• EPIC electronic medical record system
• Board certified or board eligible in hematology/oncology required
• Minimum 1 year experience required
• DEA and PA license required
