About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Hospital Finance to provide strategic leadership over the financial operations of its affiliated hospitals. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of key financial functions, including financial integrity, regulatory compliance, reimbursement strategy, and long-range financial planning. This executive will work closely with executive leadership, physicians, and operational leaders to ensure the organization's financial sustainability and support its strategic growth initiatives. The role demands a hands-on leader with a strong understanding of healthcare finance, reimbursement, performance improvement, and financial strategy, who can effectively translate complex financial information into actionable insights and build strong partnerships across clinical and operational teams. Candidates for the Vice President of Hospital Finance position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a Master's degree and CPA preferred. A minimum of 10 years' progressive accounting or financial management experience, with 5-10 years in healthcare finance, is required. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of healthcare finance, reimbursement, and regulatory requirements, as well as strong analytical, strategic, and decision-making capabilities. Experience in leading high-performing finance teams, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to high ethical standards are essential. The role also involves driving cost-management strategies, supporting long-range financial planning, and leading data-driven financial analytics to enhance margin improvement and service-line performance.
