Salary Range: $50,000 - $77,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Charlotte region seeking Production Leads. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates-not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Train and mentor production team members, fostering skill development and adherence to safety protocols.
• Implement and monitor production schedules to meet deadlines and optimize resource allocation.
• Conduct regular quality checks and implement corrective actions to maintain product standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with engineering for continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate production records and generate reports for management review.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies within the production area.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Proven ability to manage and optimize production processes for efficiency and quality.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and quality control standards (e.g., ISO, lean manufacturing).
• Demonstrated experience in team leadership, including training, performance management, and motivation.
• Proficiency in using manufacturing execution systems (MES) or similar production management software.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab)
• OSHA 30-hour General Industry certification
