Lead Designer II

Summary Lead Designer II for RH Contract is the creative lead on medium-sized design projects or key components of large projects, responsible for shaping and delivering design visions from discovery through final deliverables. This role collaborates closely with Sales, Sourcing, Integrated Design and Operations teams, leads multiple projects simultaneously, and may mentor or lead other designers on specific engagements. The position supports Hospitality, Commercial, and Residential sectors and occasionally requires domestic and international travel. Responsibilities Serve as creative lead on medium-sized projects or key components of larger projects, working independently or with studio support Lead the design process from discovery through final design deliverables and documentation Collaborate with RH Contract Sales, Integrated Design, Sourcing, and Operations to align design with project expectations and delivery plans Manage multiple projects within the studio portfolio, including new builds and renovations Continuously improve deliverables, processes, and studio capabilities Requirements 6+ years of interior design experience with 1-2 years leading medium-sized projects or key components of large projects Architecture or Interior Design degree and relevant certification Strong knowledge of the studio sector (Hospitality, Commercial, and/or Residential) and ability to engage key decision makers Familiarity with building codes, technical product requirements, brand standards, and industry submittal requirements and tools Proven ability to build and maintain effective cross-functional relationships and willingness to travel occasionally #J-18808-Ljbffr Brobston Group LLC
