Medical Scheduler – Temp-to-Hire

Location: Oklahoma City, OK

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite

Pay: $14–$16/hour DOE

Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire - 90 Days

Position Overview

We have an immediate need for a friendly, organized, and patient-focused Medical Scheduler to join our team. This position will be responsible for assisting patients with scheduling office appointments, answering questions, and ensuring all necessary paperwork and documentation is completed prior to their appointments.

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced office environment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments accurately and efficiently
• Answer incoming calls and assist patients with questions regarding appointments and office procedures
• Provide friendly, professional customer service to patients
• Assist patients with completing required paperwork and documentation
• Follow up with patients to ensure all required forms are completed prior to appointments
• Verify and update patient information as needed
• Communicate appointment details, requirements, and instructions clearly
• Maintain accurate and organized records
• Coordinate with office staff to ensure a smooth patient experience
• Handle confidential patient information with professionalism and discretion
• Perform additional administrative duties as needed

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, scheduling, medical office, or administrative experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable speaking with patients over the phone and in person
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy office environment
• Professional, friendly, and dependable demeanor
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
