Job Description

As a Sales Representative, you will be at the forefront of our agency's success, engaging with potential customers and helping them secure the right insurance coverage. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Identifying and pursuing new leads through various channels, including referrals, networking, and community outreach.
• Conducting consultative sales discussions to understand customers' needs and recommend appropriate insurance products.
• Providing exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries, addressing concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Collaborating with the agency team to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
• Utilizing sales tools and resources to effectively present insurance options and close sales.
• Managing and maintaining accurate customer records and policy information.

Requirements

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Representative with the following qualifications:

• Proven track record of success in sales preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

• State insurance licenses (or the willingness to obtain them) is a plus.

Mon, Wed, Fri, 9AM-5PM Tue & Thu 9AM-7PM Compensation: $38,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

• We help customers with their insurance and financial services needs, including Auto Insurance, Home Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement Planning, Business Insurance, College Planning, Health Insurance, and Renters Insurance.
• Our office is located in Downers Grove.
• Before becoming a State Farm Agent, I was previously employed as a State Farm Agent Team Member.
• I am a second generation State Farm agent.
• I am a proud graduate of Illinois State University.
• We currently have 7 team members at our agency.
• We have 110 years of combined insurance experience in our office.
